KZN FISHING REPORT - 27TH JUNE 2009

FISHING REPORT 27TH JUNE 2009.

Sardine Run Has Not Yet Happened
According to Port Edwards Terry Nel, the phone keeps on ringing and fever is at a pitch, but the main sardine run has not yet happened. Sardines have been netted further up the coast but over some past years it has been the same and netters on the spot have had an early bonus. If and when they come, we will know all about it. Shad have been plentiful and weekend visitors are going home with their bags full. No big fish though and not for a lack of trying because live bait fishermen have been active. Let’s hope that this week some sardine action takes place.

ESA Sardine Run Package Deal
ESA will be offering a sardine run package deal during June and July for anglers to participate in one of the greatest angling phenomenon’s along the South African coastline, namely the annual sardine run. The guided angling trips will be conducted by the ESA presenters.

The angling public, whether they are new to the sport or have years of angling experience have grown to trust and believe in what the ESA presenters do and can do for them when it comes to angling. Booking can be done by mailing raymond@charadon.com this e-mail address is being protected from spam bots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. The 4 day package is available with all food, accommodation, soft drinks and transport around the sardine run in the ESA branded vehicles plus the groups will be filmed for possible use on the ESA show.

The package will cost R 4995.00 per person for ESA members and R 5995.00 per person for non members. Also please note that due to the nature of the sardine run they cannot guarantee sardine run action every day, however they will fish in and around the most likely areas to catch your dream fish.

ESA NEW C.E.O
ESA have been hard at work implementing new changes to strengthen and improve ESA and their services to the public. ESA has announced the arrival of their new CEO and Director Almando Costa.
Mr. Armando Costa, established businessmen, passionate angler, conservationist and ESA Member has joined ESA Holdings as a majority share holder and will now stand as C.E.O of ESA Holdings and Producer of Extreme Sports Angling, commencing the 8th of June 2009.
