SAFARI CHILLER KEEPS EVOLVING

We as tackle junkies always appreciate something new in the market to fiddle with, purchase or criticize! Safari Chiller have gone against the grain of the recession and continued to develop.
Recently added to the range of Safari Chillers is the 6 liter and 10 liter boxes.

The 6 liter is the same height and width as the 4 liter, but longer. This new Safari Chiller was designed with the Paddle Ski and Jet Ski angler in mind! Small and compact to store the right amount of bait without taking up too much space. The lid has an extra tight seal so the box will stay closed even in rough waters.

The most important feature is that the extended length caters for sardines, mackerel and even small bonito, these are the four main baits used from a Jet Ski or Paddle Ski.

The 10 liter has the same dimensions as the 18 liter but shallower. This lightens the box considerably, but you still have the advantage of the length to be able to pack long baits like bonito, yellowtail, chokka and shad. A rough guideline is, you can fit four average size bonito as well as four big chokka, but you still have the same working space on the top of your box as the famous 18 liter.

A full box will keep your bait frozen for longer (less open space the better) so if you don’t intend taking more bait then the above mentioned quantity then the 10 liter is for you.

Both models come with an option of the “Fisherman” lid or the “Fiberglass” lid. The Fisherman lid has a nylon cutting board surface for cutting and preparing bait with a high density Eva to keep an extremely tight seal. The Fiberglass lid is exactly what it says, straight forward fiberglass! With a tight seal and a hard top. Other Safari Chiller models available:
The 4lt, 8lt, 12lt, 18lt, 20lt and 25lt all available with Fisherman or Fiberglass lids.

The 38lt, 45lt, 60lt and 85 lt all come with hinges, latches as well as two handles. These models are only available with a Fiberglass lid.

The new style fisherman’s box with the new 10mm nylon lid comes in the following sizes, 4, 8, 12, 18, 20 and 25 litre. These boxes are all the traditional sizes used by anglers country wide, but now with a new improved EVA foam grip on the stainless steel handle. These boxes are also available with foam filled fiberglass lids.

Safari Chillers are also manufacturing the larger boxes, namely the 38, 45, 60 and 85 litre boxes. These larger boxes come with foam filled fibreglass lids, two stainless steel hinges, stainless steel clips as well as a EVA seal on the lid. They come complete with two stainless steel handles and the new EVA foam grip.

Safari Chillers have been around for a long time and the original designer went to great lengths to ensure that the insulating foam fill was correct in order to give the Safari Chiller a very good insulating property.
